At Arlington Catholic, our shared humanity and belief that each of us is created in the image and likeness of God call us to promote a safe environment for students to have open, respectful conversations about race, class, sex, politics, current events, and social justice. We recognize that all people experience the world through individual lenses, and actively strive to advance understanding, justice and belonging for all people.
The Student Diversity Council provides such a forum: an inclusive environment where students of diverse backgrounds and interests are seen and heard. Student leaders propose, plan, and sponsor discussions, workshops, events and activities that promote diverse perspectives, and work toward making AC a place where everyone feels the spirit of belonging.
Meetings are held during designated WIN blocks, and as needed. The Student Diversity Council is open to all ACHS students.
